OBJECTIVE:


Primary duties include processing monetary transactions, cross selling bank products and managing the funds of an assigned station.  Duties also include delivery of quality customer service by greeting and responding to customers promptly and courteously and executing competent security procedures by being observant and informed about potential security risks


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and payments

Verify endorsements, receive proper identification, and ensure validity

Cross sell bank products and services

Account research on the bank system, place holds on accounts, transfer funds on-line and process miscellaneous items

Balance cash drawer daily, accurately and efficiently

Understand bank products and respond appropriately to customer inquiries regarding products: refer to New Accounts Representative as appropriate

Understand Retail Banking policies and procedures for position and ensure compliance

Provide superior customer service by exhibiting a friendly and professional demeanor at all times; answer telephone in a professional manner

Accept assignments as required to maintain adequate staffing levels throughout the branch system

Other duties as assigned

 


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS


Education and Experience:


·         High school diploma or GED required


·         Cash handling or sales experience preferred


·         Prior customer service experience


 


Skills and Competencies:


·         Proven customer service ability


·         Strong math aptitude


·         Strong basic computer sills


·         Good communication skills


·         Ability to perform job functions accurately and with attention to detail


·         Ability to multi-task and remain organized


·         Ability to maintain confidential customer and bank information in a responsible and secure manner


 


WORKING CONDITIONS:


Traditional retail office environment
