Loan Administration Analyst - Amarillo

Summary:

The Loan Administration Analyst is responsible for assisting in the accuracy, compliance, and completeness of the documentation and processing of consumer, commercial, real estate, agriculture, oil & gas, and SBA loans as required by the bank’s policies and procedures. Works closely with lenders, lending assistants, and loan operations team before and after loan closings to ensure best loan administration practices and ongoing loan monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  •          Review borrower, loan, and collateral documentation prior to loan closing for accuracy and completeness.
  •          Collaborate with both loan production and loan operations personnel to remedy deficient loan documentation prior to closing.
  •          Organize and prioritize workflow to meet scheduled loan closings.
  •          Process and review loan documentation.
  •          Complete checklists outlining the requirements for different loan and customer types.
  •          Collaborate with both loan production and loan operations personnel scanning loan documentation post funding.
  •          Recognize, track, and report loan documentation exceptions.
  •          Assist with creating reports for management and helping with new projects.
  •          Other duties as assigned.

This Position Requires:

  •          High School Diploma or GED, college is preferred.
  •          Minimum banking experience required 2 - 4 years.
  •          Previous experience in a regulated industry or compliance field with preference given to banking, compliance, or audit experience.
  •          Basic understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and standards in banking, finance, and lending.
  •          Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly learn and navigate various internal systems. Previous experience with LaserPro is preferred.
  •          Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
  •          Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  •          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •          Self-starter with ability to adapt to changes within the work environment and manage competing demands and multi-tasking.
  •          Ability to work well with people of varying technical abilities and varying communication styles.
  •          Must meet minimum credit standards and pass a criminal background check.
